ROS Developer

Job description:
- We are looking for a passionate ROS Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in robotics software development. The ideal candidate should have experience with ROS/ROS2, autonomous mobile robots (AMR/AGV), Linux, C++/Python, and sensor integration. You will work closely with our robotics R&D team to develop, test, and deploy intelligent robotic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Develop and maintain robotics applications using ROS/ROS2.
- 2. Work with Git for version control and collaborative development.
- 3. Perform testing, validation, and documentation of robotics software.
- 4. Collaborate with hardware, embedded, AI, and software development teams.
- 5. Design, implement, and optimize robot navigation, localization, and mapping algorithms.
- 6. Integrate sensors such as LiDAR, IMU, Cameras, GPS, and Encoders.
- 7. Develop ROS nodes, topics, services, actions, and launch files.
- 8. Configure and optimize Navigation Stack (Nav2), SLAM, and AMCL.
- 9. Interface robots with motor controllers, embedded systems, and communication protocols.
- 10. Debug and troubleshoot robotics software in simulation and real-world environments.
Required Skills
- 1. 1–2 years of experience in ROS/ROS2 development.
- 2. Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- 3. Experience with Ubuntu Linux.
- 4. Knowledge of ROS concepts such as Nodes, Topics, Services, Actions, TF, and URDF.
- 5. Experience with Navigation2 (Nav2), SLAM Toolbox, AMCL, and RViz.
- 6. Familiarity with Gazebo or Ignition Gazebo simulation.
- 7. Understanding of robot kinematics and coordinate transformations.
- 8. Experience integrating sensors such as LiDAR, IMU, Cameras, and GPS.
- 9. Knowledge of Git and software version control.
- 10. Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- 1. Experience with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) or Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV).
- 2. Knowledge of MoveIt, OpenCV, PCL, and computer vision.
- 3. Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- 4. Experience with embedded systems, STM32, Arduino, or ESP32.
- 5. Basic understanding of AI/ML for robotics applications.
- 6. Experience deploying robots on edge computing platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson or Raspberry Pi.
Educational Qualification
- 1. Bachelor's Degree in Robotics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2. Relevant robotics certifications are an added advantage.

Compensation & Benefits
- 1. Experienced Candidates: Up to 20% hike on the candidate's current CTC, based on technical skills, interview performance, and relevant experience.
- 2. Freshers: CTC of ₹1.5 Lakhs per annum, with a minimum 2-year service commitment.
